Here’s a comparative look at the type of websites claimed to have been visited in the past month by French-speaking Quebeckers and Canadians living in the rest of Canada.
The top five types of websites visited by Canadian adults 18+ are:

While maps and news sites are in the top five types among French Quebeckers, there are significant differences with the ROC.
- 29.9% of French-speaking Quebeckers claim to have visited a news website in the past month compared to 35.5% of Canadians living in the ROC.
- 29.9% of French-speaking Quebeckers claim to have visited a maps website in the past month compared to 39.4% of Canadians living in the ROC.
Other differences:
French-speaking Quebeckers are significantly more likely to say they’ve visited online classifieds sites, online dating sites, gambling sites, and adult entertainment sites.
- 23.7% of French-speaking Quebeckers claim to have visited an online classifieds website in the past month compared to 18.2% of Canadians living in the ROC.
- 7.5% of French-speaking Quebeckers claim to have visited an online dating site in the past month compared to 5.1% of Canadians living in the ROC.
- 6.8% of French-speaking Quebeckers claim to have visited a gambling site in the past month compared to 5.5% of Canadians living in the ROC.
- 14.1% of French-speaking Quebeckers claim to have visited an adult entertainment website in the past month compared to 12.1% of Canadians living in the ROC.

That is interesting , i thought more Quebecers would search about hockey but, porn sites is illegal so not much harm there but, gambling is an issue.
