Travel through Quebec in the summer and you’ll find festivals (and their sponsors) everywhere. There’s always a reason to party even when it’s about mud wrestling with a pig at the Festival du Cochon de Ste-Perpétue.
Food is usually a big part of the event.
And now a Quebec entrepreneur has created a mobile restaurant in what looks like a container that can open in 90 seconds to become a small restaurant with a terrace. Powered by solar panels and propane gas, the mobile restaurant is a long way from the typical hot dog stand.
The prototype, which is being unveiled today, will be located at Montreal’s old port this summer and will offer lobster rolls and steamed mussels.
